Charlotte Maude appeals on behalf of the Isabel Medical Charity, Registered Charity No 1080342.
The Isabel Medical Charity was founded by Charlotte and Jason Maude three years ago. Their daughter Isabel was misdiagnosed with chickenpox and almost died. They had the idea of designing a computer programme into which doctors could type a patient's key symptoms that would list the 10 most likely diagnoses. They have developed just such a diagnostic tool with the help of paediatricians. It is free to all medical professionals and over 9,000 doctors are using it. They now want to raise funds for an adult version.
