Enhancements include:
- New layout for entering clinical features and results
- 10 diagnoses displayed in 2 views - Commoner Diagnoses ranked higher and Degree of Match [semantic match between terms entered and diagnosis documents]
- Each view allows users to view ALL diagnoses or by body systems [Respiratory, Gastroenterology etc.]
Each view allows you to see diagnoses by particular body system heading or all body systems. You can also set the number of diagnosis and body system headings.
FOR INSTITUTIONS ONLY:
Institutional clients / partners - can, in addition, customize their diagnosis decision support checklist. Each institution can set/change in real-time:
- Number of diagnoses & body systems [Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology etc.] displayed
- Rank-order of diagnoses & body systems to reflect institutional priorities/local epidemiology
- Flag with message - red/amber/green/white - institutional sentinel diagnoses, each flag with institutional message to clinicians
IDEAS - a point-of-learning cognitive skills simulator launched. In response to our institutional clients educational needs, Isabel Diagnosis Education Assessment System [IDEAS], a web-based point-of-learning cognitive skills simulator used by educators / proctors to teach and feedback diagnosis decision making cognitive skills and pitfalls to students, trainees and practicing clinicians was launched in May 2009.
