Isabel was selected as one of the three joint winners of the British Computer Society IT Awards held at Le Meridien Hotel in Piccadilly, London on 5th November 2002.

The 2002 awards received 68 nominations and 9 projects were selected to go through to the Medallist day.

On the day, fourteen judges visited the project stands and listened to presentations about each project. They then made their deliberations and selected three projects of which Isabel was one as their winners for 2002 for outstanding and innovative developments within the IT sector.

The British Computer Society state:-

"The awards exist to honour significant technical developments in the field of Information Technology in the UK. The IT awards are now in their 30th year and have the longest continuing record of honouring IT excellence. The high status of the Awards is underlined by the importance of major companies that are prepared to sponsor them and by the recognition which winners receive as a result of their success."

The BCS judging process is extremely rigorous and therefore we are particularly proud that Isabel was selected as an Award Winner.
